Category: Garage Sale
I bought an iphone a few months ago which comes with voiceover included. And, somehow the phone that mobilespeak was running on took a swim, so it obviously no longer works. I tried selling this license a while back, but did not receive much interest. So, just figured I would try again. I am willing to take the best offer.
Thanks,
Justin
Just to clarify, I don't plan on buying another windows mobile phone, and that is why I wish to sell the mobile speak license.

trying to sell mine as well
So I suppose, and I've not researched yet, these can be completely transfered?
damn. noone wants it. lol
I'm interested in buying a license. How much are you selling it for? If I buy it from you, will I be able to upgrade to ms4? So say I pay $80-100 for your key, can I then buy the upgrade for it for $250 through aT guys? Looking forward to your reply.
@6 something in the back of my head says no, I'm sure I've read it someware but I could be wrong.
I bought mobile geo from a friend and it worked great as far as the transferring it all.
As far as transferring, I do believe it will work just fine or I would not have posted this. :) As far as the upgrade, I do not know, as I have not looked in to upgrade eligibility requirements or anything, but I bought my license about a year ago. Actually, I bought it through the MAP (Mobile Accessibility something), which allowed even payments for a year, so one does not have to shell out such a large amount all at once. I actually just finished paying it off.
My license comes with two voices, Dave for English, and MarĂa for Spanish. I don't know if that may be usefull to someone out there. I do think I remember seeing a few Spanish speaking zoners a while back.
Wow. That MAP thing sounds really cool. Do you know if they work in Massachusetts? I'm always looking for places that will help out with stuff like that so you don't have to come up with bunches of money all at once. My fiance's getting a new phone and he'd love mobile speak but the phone he's getting is already over $300 and it is simply impossible for us to pay for that and for ms4! Geo sounds so awesome too but that is even more impossible to afford when you're a student on SSI with your own apartment and bills to pay for. Such is life...
I'm sooooo sorry I haven't replied in a while, but I think that MAP should work anywhere in the U.S. But, I could give a better deal than that. I would be willing to sell it for as low as $80.
Of course, one should always check to make sure that the software will work on the desired phone.
I'm interested with a few questions. If you get a winner before me, by all means take it. The wife is crunching the numbers to see if I can get it / then I'll of course need to get a phone.
So how do I make sure of these things you speak of? I mean phone compatibility and the like? Is it going to work on a Windows 2003 / 2005 / 2006 phone? I will no doubt be trying to buy a phone from eBay or such like if I can do this. Also how is it keyed? I thought these phone readers were keyed to the device, except now Mobile Speak 4 is keyed to the phone number.
I'm not concerned with upgrading: just want to get the basics so the phone will talk and read texts.
If you have a link that will answer my questions that's all you need send if you like. I assume they like Talks have a list of compatible phones so I can do a match against T-Mobile, then try and find them on eBay. Not picky about features and the like.
Anyway thanks if you can answer, and if you've already got a buyer, good, and congratulations.
Hey there,
You can go to the Mobile Speak web site to varify any info.
With Mobile Speak, it is possible to transfer licenses.
From what I remember, they didn't have very many that worked with tmobile, but that very well could have changed. Also, if you can find a compatible atYT phone that you like, you can probably unlock it to work on TMobile. Just take a look around the mobilespeak site and you should be able to find out what you need to know. Keep in mind, it is designed to work on windows mobile phones, but it may not work on one that is not specifically listed. I used the BlackJack II from AT&T and it worked like a charm, and it is incredibly easy to unlock! I did it because I travel abroad a lot. (But now, like I said in post 1, I got my iphone, so no longer needed it.) If after research you want to make a deal, I'll be more than happy to work with you.
OK what version is it? There latest is 4, but I assume this is an older version, so i can look on their compatibilities list for that version. I anticipate being able to get an unlocked phone from eBay, and T-Mobile has a lot that will work with it, even if they don't sell them. Has to do with the radio bands.
Anyway thanks a lot and I will let you know as soon as I know about this.
just putting this out here i have a Tmobile dash with mobile speak already installed on it i am willing to sell it for 200 the only issue is the screen is no longer working if anyone is interested PM me or reply here
I am no longer interested in this offer, just saying so anyone else who's hot to trot for it isn't held up on account of me. I say this because I realize for us deals like this are a real jewel.
Does anyone have MS4 for sale?
I am selling ms 4 with a dash3g for 300 dollars or best price offered.
